An American soccer club, FC Dallas was founded in 1996 as the Dallas Burn. The club won the US Open Cup in 1997. Their fiercest rivals are the
Chicago Fire and the
Houston Dynamo.
FC Dallas will open the 2009 MLS season March 21 at Pizza Hut Park against the Chicago Fire (7:30 p.m.). Dallas won't play again until April 4, when it visits New England. Game time is to be determined.
