The Cuban-American Nororaduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University's world-renowned bachelor of fine arts program. Only a few months after receiving his degree, he made his Broadway debut opposite Tony Award-winning actors Nathan Lane and John Glover in "Love! Valour! Compassion!" Noroeft Broadway to star in "Twisted," an indie deconstruction of "Oliver Twist."
Noroollowed with many regional musical productions, one of which was a lavish production of "Babes in Arms" at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, starring opposite Tony Award-winning actress Kristen Chenoweth. His portrayal of Irving Berlin in "Tin Pan Alley Rag," which he performed both at the Pasadena Playhouse and Coconut Grove Playhouse, garnered him a Los Angeles Ovation Award nomination. The role's highlight came when one of Berlin's daughters traveled from Paris exclusively to see his performance and commented, "You reminded me of my father." Most recently he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Frankie Valli in the musical ?Jersey Boys? at the prestigious La Jolla Playhouse.
Soon after his arrival in Los Angeles, Noroanded a leading role opposite Angela Lansbury in the TV movie musical, "Mrs. Santa Claus." This was followed by a long string of other television appearances in such series as ?CSI: Miami,? ?Monk,? ?Boston Legal,? "Frasier,? NBC?s "ER," "NYPD Blue" and "Stark Raving Mad." For two seasons, Noroortrayed the compassionate high school guidance counselor on the critically acclaimed "Six Feet Under.? Most recently, he was a series regular on the drama series ?Mr. Sterling,? opposite Josh Brolin.
Noroas also written four original screenplays -- one of which is "Alligator Alley,? an independent film in which he starred and produced. It was there that his collaboration with composer Eric Whitacre began. The pair produced and co-composed five of the soundtrack's original songs, on which Norolso supplied vocals. Their latest creation, "Paradise Lost: Opera Electronica," loosely inspired by Milton's epic poem, is the first serious opera to combine classical singing with ?ambient trance and dance electronica,? utilizing Noros more than 10 years of experience in film, television, music and theater.
