An Irish singer, Carly Smithson earned fame by making the top 24 on the 7th season of
American Idol.
“Hey, I like your jacket. And is that a Jim Morrisson pin? I like the Doors. I sang a Doors song during the show.” There was a two-second pause before I mustered a reply. “Yeah, Light My Fire, right?” He smiled and nodded.
