Gladiator", "Black Hawk Down", based on the non-fiction account of the same name, is the big screen telling of the real-life story of what went down in Somalia in 1993, from the point of view of an American soldier. Starring an ensemble cast including

Retired Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin will speak about his 36-year Army career at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Following his presentation, Boykin will sign copies of his autobiography “Never Surrender: A Soldier’s Journey to the Crossroads of Faith and Freedom.”

This project was originally the idea of director Simon West who urged producer Jerry Bruckheimer to obtain the rights of the book with a view to directing it himself. However, West abandoned the project to direct "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider."
