An Italian soccer club, A.S. Roma was founded in 1927. They are based in the city of Rome and they play in the Italian Serie A. They won the Italian top flight in 1941–42, 1982–83 and 2000–01 and won the Coppa Italia in 1963–64, 1968–69, 1979–80, 1980–81, 1983–84, 1985–86, 1990–91 and 2006–07. Their fiercest rivals are fellow Roman side SS Lazio.
